** Automaker stocks around the world slumped on Thursday after U.S. President Donald Trump announced tariffs

** Trump said he would impose 25% tariffs on all vehicles and foreign-made auto parts imported into the United States

** Levies on auto parts to begin on May 3

** YTD APTV up 8.8%, BWA down 4.84%
